
Charlena Jones, Evangelist, award-winning executive leader, author, guest radio host, and Qualified Mental Health Professional, whose career reflects a rare integration of faith, governance, and transformational leadership. A former elected official and the first African American School Board Chair in her district, Charlena has led at the highest levels of public service while maintaining a lifelong commitment to ministry and community impact.
Her ministry leadership spans decades and includes founding and directing a nursing home ministry, teaching Sunday School from early childhood through adulthood, establishing and leading a dance ministry and single women’s ministry, serving in praise and worship leadership, and creating and producing church plays that advanced spiritual formation and outreach. In addition to her public service, she has served on boards of directors, providing strategic oversight grounded in integrity, discernment, and servant leadership.
